Hello anyone! I'm Viktor and I'm from Russia. My English knowledge is a little for the time, but I'm learning. My English course demand I get relly answers in a forum on various questions. At the moment it is: How do you get to work\school? How long does it take? How much is it? How far is it? Is it crowded? I think it is that forum where I can get the help. Please, help me anyone!

Hi Viktor! How do you get to work\school? I get to work by car. How long does it take? This depends on the traffic - usually I need approximately 45 minutes.
How much is it? The petrol cost 1.68 New Zealand Dollar per litre. How far is it? It is about 20 kilometres. Is it crowded? Yes, terribly. I have to go over
Auckland's harbour bridge from North to South and it seems like everyone works over there.

MetallicPoison! Thank you for your help for me. I think it's very cool to get to school via a school bus and when it's free. Here aren't any school
buses for pupils in Volgograd. It is only when pupils to go to theatre, excursions or summer camp together.

I haven't known it yet.) Sabine, thank you very much. I think Aucland is a beautiful city, such a big, and there is so plenty of water and beach! Are there any sharks?

Hello my friends! In last reply when I think and I'm writing about New Zealand I had remembered about shaks. I know it's terrible for someone who live near a shark's home and may swim in the neighbourhood. But when you live faraway… I like to remember one story. But I'm not undersntand all words on hearing there. And consequently I can't teach her to speak right and understand all there. Now here I think to find anyone who will be able to fill my gaps in that listening. The gaps are with underline and question mark. Maybe I could mistake anywhere more.

Hi inquisitive mind, why did I call you Viktor in my first post? Have you changed your name? Yes, Auckland is surrounded by water and I live very close to the
beach. Fortunately we have no sharks or at least you hear very rarely about it. Thanks for letting me know the petrol cost, I am alway interested in knowing

Hello Lynne Hand! Thanks for this version that story! I could not find it in the internet last. But now everything has stayed on its own places
in my head. Or it's most every from that. The word "tease" is new for me, therefore I had thought that it's teeth.
And how could I forget about the irregular verb left? It's relly "left". Thank you Lynna Hand.

Is it Mr. Sharky come along the
fishes as guiet as can be, or the fishes come along Mr. Sharky? Sorry. My English knowledge is elementary now.

That's well an example Lynna Hand. Thank you! Certainly I'm sure that the shark come along the little fishies and the spider came along the Miss
Muffet. But my teacher who taught me in beginning, she talk me that there is one hard rule in English. The word which designate subject (noun, pronoun) is on
first place in sentience, then the word which designate the action what subject is doing (verb).
Now - Along came a spider… Is it inversely? Is there a different rule? |
