Hi, Antonio. Nice to meet you here. :-)
OK. Let's chat in English. Tell me please something about you. Where do you live? How old are you? What do you do? And things like that. I live in Sofia, Bulgaria. I'm married and we have 15-year-old daughter. And I'm a training manager, but I broke my leg 2 months ago and now I'm staying at home. That's way I use my time to improve my English. Regards, Radmila ----------------- Hi Guys, You seem to be having a nice chat, so I will correct the English by editing your posts:- Hi, Antonio. Nice to meet you here. :-) OK. Let's chat in English. I'm employee at University of Turin and I'm systems analyst, I started my job four years ago exactly. I love my family, read, playing the guitar, Internet, my friends, ecc. Hi, Lunne!
I am a training manager - a manager responsible for training and I conduct trainings to managers also. Here are some subjects: Customer Care skills, Delegations skills, Selection and Recruitment of staff, The Leadership and Motivation, The Appraisal Systems and Effective Feedback, Appraisal Interview and things like that. My previous job was a Sales manager and then I was a trainee manager. However I think that people always are trainee in something :-). Hi, Antonio! Unfortunately I will be ale to walk may be in 3 or 4 months. It depends on my health state. But I am not staying at home all the time this period, because I walk on crutches and and move in my car which I keep it secret form my doctor :-) We'll see us here on Monday. Regards, Radmila |

Hi Radmilla
Thanks for clarifying that. And I agree, I am a trainee forum manager! Just a little correction for you though. Training is only ever singular, to make it plural you have to add another word. For example:- He has had a lot of training. He has been on a lot of training courses. Do you carry out 360 degree appraisals - now they are fun! |

Hi, Lynne!
I haven't done a 360 degree appraisal training yet. It's because that is a kind of appraisal system and needs to be created to a particular company. In my appraisal training I emphasize on the skills which the managers have to have for (or about - I'm not sure) how to set (is this the verb I need) goals, how to conduct an appraisal interview, how to give and receive feed-back and things like that. The most of these skills are relevant to the 360 degree appraisal also. Sorry, but I can't understand your comment you are a trainee manager here in the chat. What do you mean? I think that if you help people to learn something or improve some their skills you should be a training person. See you tomorrow. Have a nice day. Radmila |

Trainee board manager = British Sense of Humour.
Fully qualified English teacher though! A couple of points:- In my appraisal training I emphasize the skills which managers have to have for setting goals. Most of these skills are relevant to the 360 degree appraisal also. |
