Just finished writing a short letter to people in America, but I feel so embarassed when I write to them. As a matter of fact, they're not seem
embarassed at all (sure, is YOUR language), I notice that they tend to be rather informal, when in Italy writing a business letter often requires a much more
formal language. However, when you have many examples how to write professional letter by post, e-mail is still new enough that conventions are still
evolving. To tell the truth I've never wrote a professional letter in English, but sometimes I have to send e-mails, and I tend to be rather informal. So,
what to put at the end of a business email? Some people don't put anything at all. You could just put nothing, but I am a very social person (not
always!) and I feel bad concluding a letter whitout a greeting. Nonetheless, I don't think people much care what you write. They don't consciously
read it, they see so many different endings and they themselves don't know what to write or to expect.
I've finished today with "Best Regards".
What do you think about ?
I am gonna face a vibrating protest from our partners ?
See yaa !
