Moderator Super Member Posts: 6119 14/06/09 8:14 AM Moderator	Last Wednesday was Corpus Christ and today is Father`s Day. In the cellar`s freezer is ready a cheese cake waiting to be cut. Soon my husband and I will set out for the fourth ficed rope route we have in the area. It is my maiden climb there and it should be not so difficult as the third was. A joint is in the oven and after a time one of my dauthers has to add veg I have alrady prepared. When we are back we can enjoy a nice meal together, maybe with a pint of beer. I don`t, because I got one into my kitchen last afternoon not through the door but through the window. If I hadn`t been so stupid to buy a real leather ball I wouldn`t get that. Moderator Super Member Posts: 6119 20/06/09 10:40 AM Moderator	I have opened wide the window in my study to let fresh air in. It is raining and indoor it is very humid. It is very peaceful around here only some bird are singing. I am thinking on Uganda where the world is not like that. They told us a baby was lying by its dead mother`s breast for several days. I have heard on radio they are going to open some houses for orphans as Mr Herman Gmeiner did for my country many years ago. He spent all his money to make his dream comes true and he did a huge business. For all they do not know Mr Gmeiner he was the founder of SOS children`s village. -------------- I have opened the window in my study wide, to let fresh air in. Moderator Super Member Posts: 6119 23/06/09 1:11 PM Moderator	It is dull and rainy and we can undertake nothing outdoors. It is said that nothing will change for the upcoming days in that matter. In the kindergarten the kids have always a lot to do with: tinker, painting, singing and so on and therefore they don`t like it to do it at home again. It shouldn`t be an excuse but they like much more to relax in front of the TV. My husband lit the fireplace to dry our clothes and it is really comfortable in that room. ------------- It is dull and rainy and we can't do anything outdoors. The forecast said that nothing will change for the next few days. Lynne wrote in the weather section in north Germany where she lives is shining the sun. Here it has been raining for the last few days and we won`t stay any longer in house. But as soon as we get out we`ll get wet and can turn in again. It isn`t so motivating for the kids to take a walk. Changing the topic - the day before yesterday I saw a report about Cornwall. They really showed the nicest places there even Rosamunde Pilcher was speaking. What I digest is she lives in Scotland and she has got two sons. Each of them is a farmer. I wished I was going to be there. ----------------- It is still raining, still I hope we'll get a nice summer. I`ve employed the time in house to make jam. If the rain will stop I am going outdoors to pick the rest. As I told you the weather is very British you can`t go out without an umbrella. Yesterday when night was falling I picked up more then 30 nasty snails, they are so naughty, they`re eating my whole veg. Just before I`ve put four loaves of bread out of the oven and it is very warm in the kitchen, as you can imagine, that in turn rejoiced the flies. Yesterday at noon we got a slight idea how it would be if the sun comes out. It was hot for a short moment and I was glad for the temperature we live in. Anyway, some days are standing before us until school is going to close their gates for this term. The school reports are written and the pupils are living more relaxed on there. Do you always have a pencil at hand when you hear something interesting and want it to write down, before you forget it? Lynne, thanks for the previous corrections. The goal was to have a oversleep at a nice inn in the mountain with husband and kids. But the weather is such impracticable we can`t risk it. We would have to change our clothes several times until we`ll arrive there. The last thing I want to do is go shopping with my kids, because I don`t like the idea to wast the time by looking at things we don`t need. I mean the kids would find and want things which they neither need nor would make them happy.
