I have often seen in television how special cars become made in England. The bodywork is made out of wood and I wonder what will happen if they cause an
accident. In Cornwall there is a very small auto manufactures who makes such cars.
Maybe there is someone how knows more.

I think you mean the Morgan. It's a bit pricey for me though.
Autoversicherung: England Woos World With Wooden CarAuthor: Mark LauterweinTypical car factory smells of oil and metal are absent in the Morgan factory in Malvern Link located in the idyllic South West of England. Rather the
visitor breathes in a carpentry smell which is hardly surprising since, remarkably enough in the 21st century, these cars are made of wood. In 2009 Morgan
Motors celebrates its centenary. It was founded in 1909 by Harry Frederick Stanley Morgan (H F S Morgan). A garage in Malvern Link grew into the first
production facility of the Morgan Motor Company. Initially it produced three wheel vehicles powered through the rear wheel. These took off in a big way
(figuratively speaking) after featuring in the London Motor Show and the immediate future of the enterprise was secure.
Mark Lauterwein is a UK based writer currently researching the Autoversicherung sector.

Hi Lynne, thank you for your prompt response. I am not certain if I got the letter correctly. Morgan`s body work is partly made of wooden and aluminium. Is
this so?

I think the body work is wood, and the chassis, aluminium.

Knows any of you the isle Jersey/UK? Is it possible to take an outing there from Brighton to Jersey in one day. Or is it too far away? And what is to look
at there.

Hi Hermine,
Jersey is lovely, but it's not really somewhere for a day trip from the UK. I think you'd have to drive to Portsmouth or Bournemouth (about 2 hours from Brighton) and then take a ferry, the crossing is about 2 hours. Better to save Jersey for another trip. You can drive to Cherbourg and take a ferry from there. BTW - When I say Jersey is lovely I'm talking about for a visit, the beaches and countryside there are beautiful. There's no way you could live there, unless there's something you haven't told me. http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2008/mar/21/tax

No, Hermine, I've never been there. I'm not sure they'd let me.
But there was a famous TV detective series I used to watch, called Bergerac.

I`ve got to admit I am longing for being in England too. It has started as I saw what they all have to offer in cinemas or market and so so.
