Finally the sun is there again - I`m really glad to say this after lots of rainy days.

I reckon it`s going to be nice but still too cold for a swim. They said on Sunday it will be very hot.
Nearly the whole June has been raining and the kids are waiting for nice days to use a bath. But to me I like the weather we have at the moment not too hot so I can go outside without to feeling like a slug that is looking for a cool place. |

Hello, I can say we`ve got summer weather. As soon as my lasagna is ready for eating (?) my elder ones are going to the new public swimming pool.
Lynne I`m not sure, but I reckon in the middle of my last sentence could fit a word or two to give more for understanding, what do you mean? BTW today is my wedding anniversary and I`ll force myself not to put the computer on. Have a nice day. |

The sun already has came round and I can`t see any cloud so we`ll have surely a very hot summer day as the forecast said.
The second half of the year has started. Midsummer was the night before last night.

Hi Hermine,
Yes, it was the longest day. We went out with friends for a meal. It was an Eritraen restaurant and everyone had to eat with their fingers. I was fine with that, but a couple of people asked for forks. It was lovely and cool when we got home, so we sat out in the garden and had a glass of brandy. -------------- PS Hermine - As soon as my lasagna is ready to eat, my older children are going to the new public swimming pool. |

Well, I have just been at the cemetery for watering the flowers and some people there wailed about the hot weather. It`s summer time I said.

It's been lovely here today, but a bit too hot to do anything but sit around thinking cool thoughts.

Yesterday late in the afternoon after my husband had mowed the lawn the rain has started. Today would be too cold for a swim. The sun peeped once on a time
out and therefore wouldn`t warm the body enough after the cold water.

The day has started cool I so I could open the front door for a long time but now nearly at noon the temperature is getting warmer. I wanted to persuade my
husband to take a nice swim at the new lake but he prefers to work at home.
I wish you a nice walk with your dogs, Lynne. |

Hi Hermine,
Thanks. It's a lot cooler here too. The dogs are really enjoying being able to run around without running the risk of collapsing from heat exhaustion. Tell your husband, "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy." |

But instead to take a swim I could persuade him to climb a rock with me. In my area there are three rocks where we can climb. These rocks are very high and in
the stoans are steps made out of metall. We call it: Klettersteig Sorry, I couldn`t find the English definition in my dictionary.
By the way this was my first go. I have to say I was very brave. I forbid myself to look down. I hardly couldn`t believe what I did. You know I`m only a housewife and never did such thing before. On the end of the rock there is a little inn where I drunk a pint of "Radler". This drink is made out of half beer and half Limonade. And I hope not to become a dull girl between cooking and make the loundry.

Hi Hermine,
Is there another way to the pub? Otherwise, I'll have to meet you down at the bottom. PS -- We call it a "fixed rope route". I did a couple in Switzerland and one in South Africa, but I did not enjoy the experience. PPS - It's also called a via ferrata, which is Italian for "iron road".

Yes of course you can get an easy path. On the right and left side of the path there are the fixed rope routes. So if you want we can meet us at 5pm for a nice
pint.
Lynne, when use you inn and when pub. The inn I meant you can get food. I`m not sure if you can get food in a pub. The weather here is Austria is hot and each of my children is playing up therefore I blame the weather for it. Happy vacation! |

Hmmm. It's a strange distinction, but in my mind an inn means there is accommodation.
You can't always get food in a pub, but when you can, it's still a pub. In fact, it's called pub food. |

Okay!
Yesterday late in the afternoon it started to rain heavily. For supper I prepared several kinds of salad with garlic bread. The sun is there but the air is fresh and clean some clouds floating around. But I think until noon the sky will be clear. Have a lucky day! |

Hi Estelle,
Poor you. It's been a bit cold and wet here for the past week too, but the weather service has promised a return to summer from tomorrow. PS - I don't think we've had two sunny days in a row. |
