It was a gorgeous night while coming up with this question on my own.
So, anyone can figure out that how different are these two words read? Even if you are asking me 1 thousand times, my answer is totally the same. There is no way your ears can differentiate those words except you lay...

Yo, it is really so funny when I was talking to my sis last night( tried to practice our pathetic English through MSN). I didn't remember exactly our conversation. But it seemed that we was talking about her boyfriend, afterward we was really into that interesting conversation, then she said something about he is going to cancel his planning trip to Japan. hehe, then I thought her boyfriend got a tumor and gonna come Japan for treating. Is it possible to say: "Have you ever learnt an Asian language by yourself?"
instead of "Have you ever learnt an Asian language on your own? "

Hi,

Yesterday I kept my first presentation in English at University for my an UNI mates. It went very well and I was a little bit nerves before my presentation. It was my first time when I present something in English to the other students.

mistakes I did,

I kept saying " do a new choices" " you should do the right choices every day"

"Make" would've been the right word to use..

And I didn't notice that...

Hi,

Than an now it happens that a skier has an accident and can`t go skiing. Well, he or her have to go to a doctor`s and if they bring a note from there they get back some money for the lift-passes.
Lynne, sometimes are standing people in front of me without such note. And than I have to explain what I need.
I´d now like to know how is called such a note. It needn`t to stand on it what sort of accident he/her had.

What should we say if we go to the toilet or if we want to go ?

OK, if you go to the toilet, you don't really say anything. If you're in your own home or in a bar or cafe, where you know where the toilet is, you would just say, "Excuse me for a minute."

Asking to use someone else's toilet is a bit trickier.

In America toilet means the actual fixture, not the room. There they use words like restroom,...

Is it correct to say like this to my teacher?

I want to go to the washroom.

OR SHOULD I SAY,

I want to go to washroom.
